Malik Ahmad Jalal
Mr. Ahmad Jalal is the CEO of the Aman Foundation (www.amanfoundation.org), one of Pakistan’s largest private foundation dedicated to sustainable social impact within healthcare and education. His experiences have straddled private, public and social enterprise sector and due to his record of public service, he was awarded the Harvard Kennedy School’s Emerging Global Leader Award and Eisenhower Fellowship for 2017. As Managing Director at Abraaj Group, he led investments for Global Healthcare Fund and spearheaded creation of the Pakistan Midcap Fund. He was an Executive Director with Goldman Sachs where he executed investments for the Principal Investments Team. He started his career as a Chartered Accountant with Deloitte. Ahmad is the Founding Director of Pakistan Fast Growth 100, Pakistan’s first ranking of high growth SMEs, Advisory Board Member of Professor Michael Porter’s AllWorld Network and Chairman of Injaz-Pakistan (Junior Achievement Worldwide). He graduated in BSc. Economics from the London School of Economics, is a Chartered Accountant from the UK and an MPA/International Development from the Harvard Kennedy School. Ahmad was the Opinions Editor of The Harvard Citizen and is passionate about history, philosophy and exploring new cultures.
