Hanny El Messiry
Hanny’s education includes a work in progress DBA, expected completion in March 2017. In 2009 he completed the Executive Development Program from Kellogg school of Business, Chicago, with focus on top and bottom line growth strategies. Hanny had his Executive Masters of Business of Administration from Alexandria University, under auspices of George Washington University many years after finishing his Bachelors of Science, Business Administration International Business from California State University Los Angles, California. He is also certified from many universities and affiliations, including Harvard School of Business, the American University in Cairo, Mt. San Antonio College, ABB International & Bank of America. His experiences include areas of International trade, oil, gas & petrochemicals and private infrastructure project finance as well as manufacturing of FMCG, Supply Chain and Logistics, Government office and finally RE Development. He is currently, teaching Strategic Management for Graduate Students at the American University in Cairo, while sitting on the Board of many for profit organizations. This is in addition to being a Partner in Global Equity Ventures (GEV), with projects in Middle East & North Africa, in areas of interest in Entrepreneurship. Hanny was the Governor of Alexandria. And earlier, he was Chief Executive Officer for IFFCO Egypt. He also served as golden state foods (gsf) Middle East and Africa operations Vice President. During his earlier years he was working for ABB Equity Venture in Switzerland, developing and managing projects in the MENA Region in the area of Private Infrastructure within the ABB Equity Ventures. Hanny is heavily involved in Committees of several organizations in areas of Entrepreneurship, CSR, Investors Associations, community development, Chamber of Commerce & industrial Federation. During the past ten years, he sat on INJAZ Egypt’s Board, before becoming its Chairman.
As the Founder of INJAZ Egypt, Dina el Mofty was nominated as one of the world’s most influential young Arabs under 40 by Arabian Business for 2016. Dina holds a Graduate degree from the Fletcher School at Tufts University, and pursued her undergraduate studies at Georgetown. She graduated from the American University in Cairo, serving now on its Board of Trustees. She also holds professional degrees from Penn State, INSEAD and Harvard. Dina is actively involved with the American Chamber of Commerce as the Co-chair of the Women in Business Committee, and is a member of the US Egypt Business Council. INJAZ Egypt has a strong focus on supporting young entrepreneurs through its Start Up Egypt incubator, helping them to launch and accelerate their businesses. The Incubation program has seed funded and supported over 50 successful startup businesses over the past five years.
